Bloody red.

Something simple. Something completely out of the ordinary for my blog. But take a look how gorgeous a simple red color on your nails can be.

Basically, I started with a red base and thought that this will be it. I had some stuff to do and didn't really had time for anything special that day. So I went out and bought the simplest, the most common and expected nail  polish color. 

I simply cannot walk around with "naked" nails anymore. So at least a color on them sounded good enough. But as soon as I applied it... It looked so empty. So I grabbed the first glitter polish that I could find and applied right on top on the nails. And here it was - the final form for the nails. 

And so I was walking around with nails like that for 2 days, until I had enough of it. The simplicity is killing me, OK?

By the time I got home I already knew what will I do with my nails. I saw something similar to these nails on some cheap fake plastic nails, that one girl was wearing at work. and I knew exactly that I needed to to this.

Here is how my nails looked like, and how they look now - 

To be honest I am not sure if I am happy with them or not. But as long as they are "different" I am OK with it.

I cannot believe it is September!

I mean WOW did summer passed quick. But don't get me wrong, I LOVE autumn. All those trees changing colors and the wind and my doc martens boots. <3 (fuck yeah)

But lets get back to nail art, shall we?

I am not sure about all the other countries but where I am from 1st of September is a Day of knowledge. And on this day all schools and universities start  lectures.

So I thought that I needed something that reminds me of school.. And one of the subjects I hated the most was geometry. And first thing that comes to my mind when I say "geometry" is a ruler... So I've put one on my nails.

This is super easy to do and it gives your nails a little bit of a "back to school" feeling. All you need is some striping tape and 30 minutes of your time.

Go on and try this design out! I am pretty sure you'll love it.

Macbeth Nails.

I wear my Macbeth shoes like every day, if it not freezing outside... Or if it is not melting because of the freaking heat. But even then I wear my Macbeths from time to time.

So where was I.. Oh yeah - NAILS!

I decided that my nails should match my shoes aaaanndd this was a great idea. Honesty like how my nail look like.

What I did to make my nails match the shoes? I took a piece of fishing line, as I usually do, and WRITE WRITE WRITE on my nails! Then added a logo on the thumbs annnd here we are - DONE!

Best shoes! EVER!

Cats, cats everywhere.

Cats are super awesome, OK?! But one thing that bothers me is that... I am allergic to them. How horrible  is that!? I mean really, I'd pet them all day long if I could. There are more than 5 cats living right outside my house, I see them everywhere everyday and I cannot touch them.

But I found a way to solve this - CATS ON NAILS!

YUP! I am wearing cat-inspired nail art and now I have 10 cats, instead of none. And the best part is that I don't sneeze and cry around them lol. Hope my staffordshire terrier won't get jealous because of this.

This nail art was extremely easy. Super quick to do - just a background for the cats fur color, and faces done with a toothpick and black/white nail polish.

You guys should try this one out on your nails. It is if you like cats, of course. :)

In The Music Mood.

The weekend passes by so quick.. I can't believe I need to go to work tomorrow already. But at least this time I haven't wasted all my free time for nothing -  I was playing guitar all weekend! I am so very proud of myself because for the last few months all I did on my day offs is sleep. What a shame.

But not this time. I will not waste my precious time anymore. 

So when I was choosing a pick to play with I ended up choosing one of my favorite ones - green fender pick, which ended up being an inspiration for my nail art for the next few days! I took a piece of fishing line, green and black polishes and did this on my nails really quick.

Dexter Morgan is a sweetheart.

Hey there!

Guess who is back to doing nail art! Yup, yours truly.

I would like to apologies for my absence, but for the last two months I've been spending so many hours at work that I barely had time to do ANYTHING interesting.

BUT NOW, as I got used to it, I finally found time to do my nails. YES! I hated how my nails looked during these weeks - all broken and not polished properly.

So enough with the talk, here is what I came up to as a second comeback for this year - Dexter Morgan inspired nails!!

I've been waiting for the 8th season for so long that I could not believe that it is actually out. 

I decided to do a pretty simple design not to overload my brain too much - a few blood splatters, Dexter's weapons of choice and his name as usually - using only a toothpick for this design.

So whaddya think? I really like these and I love the fact that my nails are pretty again <3

Can't wait to see the next episode of Dexter!

Fast Forward To...

Hey there!

It might have crossed your mind that I haven't been blogging that often for a while now. And by "a while" I mean weeks, but it doesn't matter, does it?

The one and only reason for it is that  

I GOT A JOB.

A nice one, well paid, with a lot of things to do all day long and a lot of stressed situations and paperwork, but as long as it helps me to get money to get THE FUCK out of this country forever - I'm 100% OK with it.

And as a result I barely have time to do anything at home - I need to write this years final paper and I barely started writing it. 

Fuck me, right?

But it is just because when I am back from work I lay on the bed and fall asleep in a few hours. These are the things I need to cope with in order to live like I always dreamed of. The things I we do to reach our dreams...

Anyways, I am NOT quitting nail art.( To be honest I hate how my nails are looking right now - plane and boring.) And I am planning on getting back to doing my nails ASAP.

So, yeah... here is my story.
