In The Music Mood.

The weekend passes by so quick.. I can't believe I need to go to work tomorrow already. But at least this time I haven't wasted all my free time for nothing - I was playing guitar all weekend! I am so very proud of myself because for the last few months all I did on my day offs is sleep. What a shame.

But not this time. I will not waste my precious time anymore.

So when I was choosing a pick to play with I ended up choosing one of my favorite ones - green fender pick, which ended up being an inspiration for my nail art for the next few days! I took a piece of fishing line, green and black polishes and did this on my nails really quick.

Here is how my nails look like-

I love my nails, I love this weekend, I love my guitar.

Down Alondra

Today is the music-related nail art day again!

But this time I'd like to introduce you to a band called Down Alondra!

I wanted to support them a bit and made a nail design inspired by their new song called EVERYTHING.

It is pretty simple but i really like the result!

I can continue telling you how awesome they are, but you need to hear them to understand it!

Angels And Airwaves Nail Art

The first thing that I must say is - It was a surprise for me not to find an AVA inspired nail art when I Googled it. I mean, really?

I love the band, the songs, the music, the lyrics the videos.. How can you not LOVE them after listening to at least one song?

If you have never listened to their masterpieces - shame on you! But here is a chance to make things right - I will post their song at the end of the post.

ANYWAYS, here is a quick preview in photos -

Annnnd here is the video! TRUST ME it is worth watching - there is always "something special" added in it!

Love it! I'll be wearing this design for as long as possible!

Punk Rock Nail Art.

The tittle says it all - this week it is all about punk rock.

I tried to include the music, style and colors to match the theme, and as a result I've created this look that you can rock on your nails!

When I was creating this design, I wanted to include something that gives that punk rock vibe. So in the end I have chosen skulls and a mohawk haircut to be in the design, as well as the guitar and stars.

In my opinion, every nail in this design suits the theme perfectly.

And if you are thinking why are there two simply matte black nails while others are colorful and fun, the answer is -

Mark Hoppus.

He has posted a picture on his Instagram account with his nails painted matte black, and that gave me an idea of making punk rock themed nail design in the first place.

One more thing about the design - I have used a fishing line to make the lines in the words thin, because my nails aren't long enough right now to write on them with a toothpick. So you will need a bit more patience, if your nails are as short as mine. And don't forget to hold your breath while writing on nails. ;)
