Yeah, I know, I've done it again. But what can I say, I guess the disappearing act is my favorite this year. I guess you have to forgive me for that. Or not. It's totally up to you.

So here I am back here, all ready to get in a good mood, but I can't. I cannot make myself smile while I live here. OK that is not your problem, I get it. You are here for the nails. SO here you go then - DAYZ STANDALONE nail art! YUP! Exactly! As the Alpha is out already my husband spends all his free time playing it... back in his parent's house... because he cannot stand the hate in my parent's house. As do I. But he can do something with it... and I can't. Not now at least.

I bet you expected something Christmas-ish, happy, joyful for a nail art? Nope. Not from me. I had my Christmas... AWAY FROM MY FAMILY. and as  am back here, I do not feel like being all smiling and all. Zombies - best choice for the holiday season!

Xbox Nail Art

OK so I did this yesterday and I just didn't had the energy to post in on the blog it was late at night when the video was ready.

Here are the third game console inspired nails for you!

Don't know why but I can't choose the ones I love the most. These looked so nice on the nails, even though these are the simplest ones to draw.

We have made some changes to the music in the video ( decided we will do it after every seventh video) and it sound pretty awesome I must say.

Nintendo Wii vs PlayStation Nail Art

Hey! Are you in your gaming mood? Because now you need to choose a side to be on.

This time two nail designs at once!

Nintendo Wii vs PlayStation!

Why two designs you are asking? Well, my sweet boyfriend is a PlayStation fan and I like to spend some time with Nintendo playing Zelda. 

I could not resist making both of the designs because I imagined them so perfectly  and could not wait to "dress" my nails with it.

Plus Keiran was excited to see these nails.

It's black nails vs white nails I guess.

As always - Keiran knows how to make the tutorial fun to watch.

It is ALWAYS worth watching till the end..

Gotham City Impostors Nail Art.

Well I guess the week has passed and it's time for the nail art, that was chosen by you. 

( By the way I'd like to thank everyone who voted this week! I'm not sure why the rest of you choose not to vote but I'm glad that at least some of you did.)

This weeks nail art is inspired by the new first-person shooter multiplayer-only video game called Gotham City Impostors.

If you never got round to playing it, the game is a squad-based shooter that lets up to 12 players (Batmanz vs. Jokerz) face-off on the streets of Gotham City.

I like the game because it actually lets you customize your own characters. Skinny Batman with cardboard mask on his head or muscular green haired Jokers wearing underwear over their pants - everything is possible in this game.

Long story short here is the nail art -

I chose to draw the portraits of the two main characters on thumbs simply because it would not be a Gotham inspired nail art without them.

Mainly all I did is I painted the nails in the colors of the characters, and added funny looking toy eyes, which I got at the craft store, simply because all the characters in the game are funny looking and a bit silly.

Tools, as usual - Toothpick. You don't need anything else to make this nail art. So go ahead and try it!

I have spent only an hour and a half on creating this design.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Nail Art

Another Wednesday and another game themed nail art!

As most of you may already know, Injustice: Gods Among Us is an upcoming fighting game with DC comics villains and heroes that will be released in 2013. 

Oh, wow.. I can't wait!

Can you imagine Superman fighting Wonder Woman, or Flash? I bet this is going to be epic.

And the best part for me is that Harley Quinn is one of the confirmed characters in the game! <3

Enough about the game, take a look at the nails:

I really tried to make all the lines nice and thin, but I always have a problem with the Wonder Woman symbol.. -__- 

I just can't make it looks good. Meh, never liked her anyways.

I think you can recognize the majority of the symbols, and the two on the grey backgrounds are - Cyborg and Solomon Grundy. This is how their symbols are shown in the game.

To create this design I've used polish, needles, thin brushes and acrylic paint,just so that the circles would stay where they supposed to.

I was surprised that it took me only about an hour and a half (maybe even less I don't know exactly) to make this! I mean - it is fast comparing to my other designs.

I love how it looks on my nails and I'm going to wear it as long as possible!

Nintendo Nail Art

This is something that I've done before but haven't posted yet.

I am officially back and I'm going to start doing what I was doing yet again.

These were pretty easy to make, except the "controller" one because of the small details and the lack of toothpicks. I've used a mechanical pencil to do the lines and details.

Every nail is Nintendo, except Sonic, which is SEGA (obviously).

I've always considered Sonic as Nintendo, because I've used to play those games as a kid. And still playing.

From now on I will continue posting new nail art designs.

Halo: Reach Awards and Medals Nail Art.

Well, there is not a lot to say. Just another game design for your nails.

Halo:Reach awards and medals are made using a toothpick (as usual) and also I've mixed some polishes together to get the color that I wanted.

All I did actually was:

1. Applied base coat

2. Applied the color on the nail

3. Let it all dry

4. Drew the awards on them with a toothpick.

And yes, it is really hard to do with your left hand sometimes, but holding your breath helps to keep a steady hand. ; )

We all love video games, right? You don't need to say a thing - I know you do!
